RT @RasMenelik2 It is not fair or responsible to label an entire ethnic group because of the actions of individuals. That kind of thinking is extremely dangerous it can create more hatred, violence, ethnic cleansing, and further havoc in our country. Anyone who participates in heinous crimes against innocent civilians whether the victims are Amhara, Tigrayan, Afar, Somali, Oromo, or any other Ethiopian must be held individually accountable and brought to justice. That is the right way forward. Every community has individuals who may commit wrongdoing. We have our own criminals among Amhara, Tigrayan, Oromo, Afar, Somali, and others. Their ethnicity does not excuse their actions, nor should it be used to condemn an entire population. It does not matter who you are or what ethnic group you belong to. If you participate in atrocities against innocent people, you must face justice through lawful means. We should pursue the perpetrators not entire communities. Justice must be based on individual responsibility, evidence, and the rule of law. Ethiopia cannot build a peaceful future through collective punishment or ethnic hatred....

@TTTEritrea NO. Let Agamestan get bombed to ashes by their Galla Ethiopian brothers. Makes it easier to use an empty wasteland like Mekelle to flank the Galla Ethiops when the latter become stupid enough to attack Asseb.

Also need to add AAPRP. As recently as June 2024, i.e., when it should have been clear to everybody what the Abiy regime is all about, they were still blaming their support for the genocide on the "imperialist puppet" character of the TPLF. Never mind that one Tigraway out of every seven was shot, bombed, or starved to death, supposedly to uproot Weyane. Or that two million were subjected to starvation. Never mind that ENDF operations were also ramped up in Wellega and other "Shene" strongholds, increasing the hyper-surveilled misery of average Oromos, the primary victims of EPRDF abuses. Because for this (mostly American) group that has zero presence or intimate contacts inside Ethiopia, TPLF had to be eliminated: even by a neo-neftegna Pente extremist, with Trump's stench all on him. Mind you, AAPRP claims "detailed knowledge" of Ethiopian and Eritrean politics, and to support Eritrea--not, apparently, Abiy Ahmed, the most pro-Western leader of the empire-state since Selassie. Though Eritrea itself maintained close ties to Israel until 2020, HGDEF still does not recognize Palestine, and dictator Isaias welcomed the US to conduct the "war on terror" against Iraq during the Bush regime. Eritrea claims to be socialist, they're African, and they are sanctioned by the US, and that's all these antiquarian windbags ever needed to know to support them....

RT @JemalCountess Now we know the planning was done more than 2 weeks ahead of the massacresโ€ฆโ€ฆ MAI KADRA, ETHIOPIA - MARCH 05, 2021: Several day laborers who worked at farms in and around Mai Kadra gather to recount the November 2020 attacks at Mai Kadra while speaking to a journalist on March 5, 2021 in Mai Kadra, Ethiopia. Dawit Kasdu (off camera) and his fellow day laborers and farmers all agreed when Dawit said "I believe that this was well planned and planned very far in advance, if not before two weeks. They started to tell those Amhara farm workers who were not being permitted to go to their work places you need to have a permit to travel to your work place. The wealthy Tigrayans who owned farms didn't pay their laborers their wages and withheld them because they knew the genocide was coming. There are indications that they knew everything that was planned and that was going to happen. I believe the local Tigrayans knew as well. I also know that Tigrayan Special Forces were arriving in Mai Kadra during the days leading up to the massacre. But the first to be killed were those who lived and worked on the farms, who had been on the farms or in the fields. Their murders were hidden from the local people and the farm owners and officials who killed them used tractors to dump their bodies in ditches or the forested areas outside of the city like the Mai Kadra River or the fields at Shelela Mocha on the outskirts of Mai Kadra." According to interviews conducted in recent days with several dozen victims, witnesses and local officials, around 1,300 (now over 1600) ethnic Amharas were killed during a series of attacks by the Samri TPLF (Tigray Peopleโ€™s Liberation Front) Youth Group, TPLF militia and local Tigrayan police, from November 6 to November 10, 2020. The violence occurred during a wider conflict between the Ethiopian government and the TPLF that ignited on November 4, 2020, when forces aligned with the TPLF conducted surprise attacks on the Ethiopian National Defense Force (ENDF) Northern Command headquarters in Mekelle, the capital city of the Tigray region as well as 4 other military bases and over 100 soft targets. RT @JemalCountess As I continue to lay out the context of the War on Amhara and the continuing Amhara Genocide, I want to revisit one of the single largest episodes of mass murder in the recent history of the Amhara ethnic group of Ethiopia that occurred in November 2020 at the opening stage of the war and coup attempt perpetuated by the TPLF. I will be sharing the accounts of the Mai Kadra massacre survivors on what will soon be the 4th year anniversary of the Mai Kadra/Humera massacre. @Chriseldalewis @RealCandaceO @dom_lucre @jimmy_dore @TheAfricaReport @LemkinInstitute @AfricanHub_ @african_stream @CollinRugg @RepJames @RepJamesComer @SFRCdems @SABCNews @SABCNews_Radio @xhnews @francescaronch @TasetiReloaded2 MAI KADRA, ETHIOPIA - MARCH 05, 2021: Selemon Abera, 40, a farmer from Mai Kadra, recounts the November 2020 attacks at Mai Kadra while speaking to a journalist on March 5, 2021 in Mai Kadra, Ethiopia. Selemon Abera stated, "I believe that this was well planned and planned very far in advance, if not before two weeks. RT @JemalCountess She survived the efforts to wipe her and her neighbors off the map in Mai Kadra. Please donโ€™t let agents of the same killing force silence her with false narratives. MAI KADRA, ETHIOPIA - MARCH 05, 2021: Bizuayehu Tesfa, 28, of Mai Kadra, recounts her story of surviving the November 2020 attacks at Mai Kadra while speaking to a journalist at Abune Aregawi Church on March 5, 2021. Bizuayeha recounts: "On November 9 my Tigrayan neighbor named Axumite told us to stay home and lock ourselves inside. After a moment a group of youths who sang a song " แŠ แ‹ตแŒŠ แŠ แˆแˆƒแˆซแ‹ญ แ‹ญแ‹แŒฃ" meaning "let every Amhara leave" and started burning our homes. My home was in flames while I was inside with my baby and with other 3 Amhara youths. Those who were inside with me broke out of the back of the house and saved me and my baby girl." According to interviews conducted in recent days with several dozen victims, witnesses and local officials, around 1,300 (later revised to 1600) ethnic Amharas were killed during a series of attacks by the Samri TPLF (Tigray Peopleโ€™s Liberation Front) Youth Group, TPLF militia and local Tigrayan police, from November 6 to November 10, 2020. Over the course of four days, Samri youth from several towns in Tigray, in addition to TPLF militia and local police, killed farm workers on farms owned by TPLF-affiliated farmer/investors before moving onto Mai Kadra itself, conducting door-to-door searches for ethnic Amharas. Most victims were slashed or hacked; many victims who survived the initial attacks with bladed weapons were shot to death. The violence occurred during a wider conflict between the Ethiopian government and the TPLF that ignited on November 3, 2020, when forces of the TPLF attacked the Ethiopian National Defense Force (ENDF) Northern Command headquarters in Mekelle, the capital city of the Tigray region and 4 other bases in the region along with over 100 soft targets as part of an attempt to overthrow the Ethiopian government.
